you AND me, not you OR me

It’s been ages since I wrote something, sorry ‘scribbled’ something!

Christmas always sets in the mood of nostalgia, love, romance, sheer joy, affection and a whole bunch of cosy emotions!!! So here goes a love song, ode to the “Christmas Mood” and to all those estranged lovers…

“You AND Me”, not “You OR Me”…

Let’s not fret over last night
It was just a silly fight
Baby, let’s get drunk
Till we ramble and fumble

Let’s give a break to those altercations
Free ourselves from the complications
Baby, let’s get wild
With no room left for being mild

Let’s just stop worrying
Enough of crying and cribbing
Baby, let’s go somewhere that's quiet
Where I can sit next to you and watch you smile

Baby, it's Christmas Eve today…
Let’s just be “you and me”
Rather than “you or me”

There is a subtle theme that colors this article in ways that are way more closer to the theme of Christmas than it seems.

The theme of ''the genesis of joy is with forgiveness of little things''.

Loved the way the post balances the tremble between angst of fighting over and the calmness of holding on.

The concluding lines reflect the holidays community feeling at an individual level of warmth and affection between two people.

Brilliantly written, and rhymes at the best parts :) :)
