Last Laugh

Scorching weather...
A Dull sky...
Leaves have turned pale and yellow.
And have no desire to cleave together.
Flowers have withered away.
The new ones were nipped in the bud.
Parched petals scattered here and there.
Casting their skeletal shadow, the gigantic branches stand embarrassed.
Robbed of its green wealth, it stands with stooping shoulders.
Wishing to tumble down soon.
Inundated with miseries, the flame is about to be extinguished.
The flame is enjoying its last vigorous dance!
Viewing all this from the hilltop, the ogress is having her last laugh.
